Hey! Passover starts tonight so I going to be MIA most of the week (not that that's anything new). Should be fun. It's been a crazy busy week (especially te past couple of days) so I'm going to keep this short and sweet!
Size of baby: 3.5" or a lemon?
Physical symptoms: Sometimes sore/itchy boobs.. Bloated (E was taking a picture of me the other day and told me to "stop sticking out my fake belly"... I was actually sucking in!). Slightly less sensitive to smells, slightly less "gaggy", MUCH less nauseous. Some weird cravings/food aversions. Lots of tears, some anxiety. Headaches. Stuffy nose. Restless legs at night if I'm overtired or can't fall asleep right away.
Weight gain/loss: I haven't checked in like a while bc our scale needs new batteries! I've definitely gained....
Maternity clothes: Not yet! But my wardrobe options are quicklyyyy dwindling.
Stretch marks: Possibly on my chest.
Sleep: I'm exhausted- if I miss my IgottaGotoBedNOW window then I have a lot of trouble falling asleep, and I can't really stay asleep for more than 6-7 hours.
Best moment since last week: "Popping" a little?
Movement: I felt something that felt like goldfish bubbles when I got into bed a couple of nights in a row but I'm thinking it was proooobably gas lol.
Cravings/Aversions: Craving Mexican. Still can't look at or smell cooked tomatoes, any and all meat still grosses me out. I'm getting nervous about Passover (starts tonight) because we eat veryyyy few things for those 8 days and none of them are things I'm super exited to eat. :-/
Gender: Still feeling like it's a girl.
Labor signs: Hopefully not anyyytime soon!
Belly button: Innie
What I miss: Not too much this week...
What I am looking forward to: The next appointment- April 25th. And getting to the date we decided to start telling more people (probably around May 1st). Right now only parents, grandparents, one aunt and uncle, and a few very close friends know. We don't plan on "announcing" it but there are a few more friends I'd like to tell, and obviously more family as well. Also, E has been off from work since Wednesday and doesn't have to go back until NEXT Thursday (not this one!) so that's awesome. He's super relaxed and happy and it's so nice. :)
Happy Passover everyone!!
Hey T! I was finally able to catch up on your blog, love it! I'm new to the whole amylose thing so reading on some of your experiences has helped.? I am however a little skeptical on if the diet works, but you're expecting so that's all the proof I need ;). hope you guys have a good week! Megan
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you so so much!! I'm super super skeptical of these things too. A bunch of other blogs I read had miraculous results where JUST the Low Amylose diet helped them enough to get pregnant. That didn't happen for us, we still needed Clomid and iui's to make it happen... but we'd done about a million rounds of Clomid before the diet, and had tried Clomid even when I weighed less than I did at my lowest Low Amylose weight, and nothing had ever worked. So yeah, I firmly believe that the LA kicked my ovaries into gear and produce better quality eggs, and that's what worked. I'd definitely do the whole process over and over again in the future if need be.
DeleteAnyway! I'm so glad to hear that this blogging journey has helped you in any possible way. Thank you so much for reaching out- you can't begin to understand how much it means to me! :)
Happy Passover! So glad to see you are doing so well!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :) You too!!
DeleteWHAT! My favorite part of pregnancy is shopping for maternity clothes! And after that, shopping for baby clothes! haha. Great update! God bless you and your little one!
